Description
We are looking for an experienced Web Analytics & Tag Specialist, on contract / freelance basis (1-2 days a week).
You’ll have an excellent working level of Google Tag Manager, Google analytics (UA and GA4) and Google Data Studio to support platform implementation, as well as tagging, testing, and ad hoc troubleshooting, ideally with digital marketing background.

About the role
You’ll get a chance to work on an exciting roster of media and ecommerce clients and collaborate with their teams.
You’ll join a small, energetic team running global campaigns for an impressive and fast-growing client base. You’ll get front-line experience across the board and develop rare knowledge that will make you a remarkable growth marketer in any business context throughout your career.
In this role you will:
Implement and manage Google Tag Manager for both straightforward and complex use cases
Deliver ecommerce tracking for UA and GA4
Implement ad-hoc functional tags within GTM for platforms such as Algolia, using vendor-supplied implementation guides
Be able to write javascript when needed to support implementation work
Use Google Data Studio to create and manage client dashboards
Centralise digital tracking, analytics, and associated data quality
Allow us and the client to leverage attribution modelling to inform campaign and budget decisions
Create and maintain documentation related to implementation requirements
Diagnose issues with analytics and marketing platform (e.g. facebook, Google Ads) configurations and tags, and provide recommendations for improvement
Write implementation/dataLayer guides and QA developer work
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
